I Almost Forgot!

No holiday journaling would be complete without including our annual Sutherland Family Christmas Day! All the Sutherland kids and their families converge on Grandma and Grandpa's house for food, fun, and visiting! It was on the 26th this year and this is a picture of us in the van on the way up there. Cody and Jayce are so cute! And you can't see him, but Dallin's dog Jose is on his lap :).

After the yummy ham dinner, we hang out around the tables and catch up with everyone. This is Bill, Cait, Dallin, Kyle and Adam.

Grandpa, Linda, and Mark.

Then we all congregate in the living room to exchange a few presents and have a Christmas program. I love it!

Grandma and Grandpa usually have a few presents to open from us, and then the little kids open presents. Jayce is the last "little kid" I guess until Kim and Adam's baby comes! The rest of the grandkids get money from G&G. Thanks G&G!!

Linda and Steve take care of foster babies. Caitlin and Billy had fun giving her a little love for a few minutes.

A few randoms left...on our way back from Utah over Thanksgiving we stopped at my Uncle Steve and Aunt June's house in Filmore. We had a short visit and then needed to get back on the road to get home. Before we could pull out of the driveway, Uncle Steven came running out to give us a tub of honey! Real bee honey! (Okay, so I know all honey is real bee honey, but this stuff is the real deal, SO yummy!) So, it was a good excuse to make homemade bread with the honey, and then slather it on a warm slice!

We also attended a very fun wedding reception of Brittany and Scott Colton. It was at the Admiral Kidd Club, the same venue as Caitlin and Billy's reception. It was beautiful. We took a quick pic of the skyline. This is the only picture I could get of the couple because their photographers were hogging them all evening!

Had to post this picture because it is so funny of Pennie. This is her favorite spot in the family room. That nose!

Billy and Caitlin surprised the boys by buying them a new (old) N64 system because ours doesn't work anymore. They love to play a game called super smash brothers. It was really way too much fun! Thanks Bill & Cait!

Well, I think that completes 2010! Looking forward to a great 2011!
