We had a few families over for a BBQ on Memorial Day. It was super fun. We started off with a hike to the waterfall, but a couple of us stayed home to work on food.
San Diego certainly has it's desert beauty...
After the hike, and a yummy BBQ, we all gathered int he back yard for a FHE lesson. The kids had a great time.

wow that is a LOT of families! or just a lot of people...thats awesome! wish we were there.
ReplyDeleteOur memorial day tradition was also to hike to the falls. We've had some interesting experiences down there. Alex fell of a cliff and broke his arm and on the same trip Alycia got lost. We found her just as the ranger was about to call in a helicopter. In spite of it all we've got some wonderful memories of those falls.
